I took off the seat cover on both the rider and passenger seats and reinforced the backing with duct tape and then added two inches of foam to the sides and seat of the passengers and two inches to the rider seat and then restabled the cover back on. My butt is in butt paradise when I ride and has lessened the feelings of vibration. That is what is draining to the body. I have also put on foam covers to the handle bars which has also lessened the feelings of vibration. Are wanting speed of power. Gas and engine performance would be my consideration. It states in the owner's manual that including the reserve tank the tank is 2.8 gals., 2.2 gals tank only. Right! I drained both tanks and it only took 2.1 gals. So, I have to conclude that my tank is probably a 2 gal tank total. I get 85 miles to the gallon. How is this comparing to the rest of you? Has anyone put on a bigger tank? How big?
